Falcon Wireless Celebrates Opening With Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

MANASSAS, VA, April 7, 2001 - A ribbon cutting ceremony marking the opening of Falcon Wireless Solutions was held at their new store in Old Town Manassas on Tuesday, April 17, 2001. Approximately 50 people attended the event. Among the attendees were Marvin L. Gillum, Mayor of Manassas, Bob Anderson President of the Prince William/Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce, and Creston Owen, President and CEO of Falcon Communications Solutions, Inc.

Falcon Wireless is a division of Falcon Communications Solutions, Inc. and is located in the former Whites TV building on Center Street. Over $300,000 was spent in renovation of the building, which, in addition to Falcon Wireless, also is the new location for Orsini and Frost Clock Smiths. Coleman Rector, president of Rector Construction, handled the renovation of the building and was also in attendance at the ceremony.

As Mayor Gillum cut the ribbon, he commented, "We are pleased to have another business added to the Old Town Community. I am happy to see Creston following in the footsteps of Loy Harris"

Mr. Owen said, "This is a very exciting time for all of us at Falcon Communications as we continue to grow and expand. Moving the wireless division out of our corporate office and into its own location gives us the opportunity to reach more people and better serve our customers." He added, "Although Falcon Communications has moved its corporate headquarters out of Old Town Manassas, it gives me a great sense of pride to still have part of the Falcon family in Old Town."
