Local Communication’s Firm Continues to Expand

Manassas , VA, June 5, 2007 – Falcon Communications Solutions, Inc., a regional communications firm, announces a sales force increase of 20%. This expansion follows the promotion of Chris Sweatt to the position of Vice President, Sales; the promotion was announced at a recent internal operations meeting by Creston M. Owen, President and CEO of Falcon.
 
Over a decade ago, Falcon began in a small trailer - a very modest start for a company that now occupies a state-of-the-art 18,000 square foot corporate headquarters, a 6000 square foot warehouse, and a popular Old Town Manassas retail service center. “Falcon is a regional company, serving the mid-Atlantic area” says Owen. “We currently employ 40 people and intend to continue expanding in the near future. In fact, growing the sales force is a primary objective for our new VP of Sales, Chris Sweatt.”
 
Sweatt, who has been with Falcon for over 8 years, has had a marked impact on the company’s tremendous success. Hired as a senior account manager in Falcon’s wireless division, Sweatt repeatedly exceeded growth and sales expectations. In addition to numerous industry certifications, Sweatt has also distinguished himself as a frequent recipient of Falcon’s employee and sales representative awards.
 
“When we hired Chris, we were hiring over 10 years of experience in the wireless industry. I knew from day one that he would be a success within Falcon and his track record proves it,” states Owen. “Chris has become a fixture within Falcon’s team and this promotion is well deserved.”
 
By accepting this promotion, Sweatt will be moving from his current position as Director of Connectivity. As Vice President of Sales, Sweatt is responsible for managing Falcon’s growing sales force, including outside sales reps, inside sales reps, and those at Falcon’s wireless retail service center. Since accepting the promotion, Sweatt ahs already hired Felix Durante as a Senior Account Manager for Falcon’s GPS fleet management products and Guy Dubois has been hired an Inside Account Management Specialist.
